Simi Leota

My name is Simi Leota, and I Mentor at the Next Contest. I am married with children and grandchildren. My journey has led me here in the service of helping people. I experienced homelessness, self-worth issues, being a victim and perpetrator of family violence in my life.

I use positive behavior support strategies and lived experience to connect with people from all walks of life. My strengths are listening and using empathy to unpack hidden stories that might hold a person back.
